We’ve been operating Selvakongani Karupannar Infrastructure Private Limited from this spot for a while now. It’s a bit different out here compared to the big cities like Chennai. Things move a little slower, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We mostly deal with infrastructure projects, which means a lot of outdoor work on roads, drains, and basic structures that people need. It’s physical, tiring work, especially in the heat we get around here. Our team is made up of local folks who aren't afraid to get their clothes dirty. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere; we spend most of our time out where the actual work is happening. Sometimes we're dealing with rocky ground or waiting for the right weather to pour cement. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. We just look at what needs to be built and we find the best way to do it with what we have. It’s a simple way of working, but it keeps us busy. Being in a place like Thuraiyur, you learn to be resourceful and fix things yourself when they break.
