R Rajasekaran Nadar & Co.

You can find us at 2A, Tennur High Road, right near the old Ramakrishna Theatre. That’s a landmark everyone around here knows, so it makes it easy for folks to find R Rajasekaran Nadar & Co. This part of Bharathiyar Salai is always humming with activity. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time, and the building itself has seen better days, but it serves us well. We handle a lot of different trade items and our days are mostly spent coordinating with suppliers and local customers. It’s a noisy spot with the traffic outside, but we like being in the middle of things. The shop interior isn't anything special to look at, just shelves and desks piled with ledgers. We don’t go for flashy advertisements. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years, or their sons and daughters now. We keep a pot of coffee going most of the morning. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have several people in at once, but we make it work. We just handle the business day by day, making sure the orders are correct and the accounts are settled. It’s a straightforward way of doing things and it has kept us going through all the changes in the neighborhood. We aren't interested in being the biggest, just in being here when the door opens.
