Trichy is a pretty busy city, and being right here in the middle of it means there is always something going on outside our window. PAZHANAM DESIGNS AND CONSTRUCTIONSPRIVATE LIMITED does a mix of drawing up the plans and then actually getting the buildings put together. It is a lot to handle some days, especially when three things happen at once. People usually come to us when they have a little bit of land and want to put something useful on it. We spend a lot of our time looking at sketches and then trying to figure out exactly how much cement and steel we are going to need for the week. It is very practical work. The traffic on Kumutham salai can be a bit of a nightmare in the mornings, so we usually try to get an early start to beat the worst of the heat. Our team is mostly made up of local guys from around Tiruchirappalli who have been working in construction for a long time. We are not some big flashy firm with a lobby. We just have our desks, some old rolls of blueprints, and our site gear. Sometimes projects take a bit longer than we would like because of supply issues or the rain. That is just how the building trade goes around here. We try to be straight with people about what we can actually do.
