We are based at 6/68, Varusai Rowther Lane, which is right off Tanjore Road in Trichy. It is a very busy area of Tamil Nadu, and the traffic on the main road can be quite a lot during the rush hour. Our office is a bit hidden down the lane, which is actually quite nice. We do engineering work that is tied to projects in Saudi Arabia. The office is very plain, just white walls and simple furniture. We don't have any decorations or fancy art. Instead, we have stacks of technical binders and charts everywhere. It is a very functional space where we focus on our tasks. The heat in Trichy is no joke, so we have the air conditioning running most of the time. There is a small group of us here handling the admin and technical side of the business. We don't have a formal front desk, so if you come by, you just talk to whoever is free. Most of our time is spent on computers or the phone. We usually walk down to the corner for tea in the afternoon. It is a regular job in a busy part of town. We are not interested in sounding like a big corporation. We just want to do our engineering work well and keep things moving forward every day. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families.
