N 2 S Spices

N 2 S Spices is located at 12, Tiny Sheed in Ariyamangalam. The name really says it all because we are working out of a very small space. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in, but we’ve learned how to stack the bags just right. The smell of spices is the first thing you notice when you walk toward the shed. It’s strong and stays with you all day long. We spend hours grinding and mixing the different varieties. It’s a dusty business, and we usually end the day covered in fine powder. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come to the shed when they need their spices. Ariyamangalam is an industrial sort of area, so we fit right in with the other small units around here. The roof is made of metal, so it gets quite hot in the afternoons, and the rain makes a huge racket. We just keep working through it. It’s mostly family helping out, with maybe one or two extra hands when things get really busy during the festival seasons. We don’t do any big advertising or marketing. People find us because they know the quality of what we produce in this little shed. It’s honest, hard work and we take it one day at a time. The equipment is old but it still runs fine for what we need.
