Malligai Stores

Malligai Stores is located at 76, Patel Road in the Perambur Barracks area of Chennai. We’ve been operating here for years, serving the local families around 600012. It’s a typical grocery shop with stacks of rice bags and rows of spices. The heat in Chennai can be a lot, so we keep the fans going all day. Dealing with the daily crowd keeps us on our toes. People come in with their lists, and we help them find what they need from the shelves. We have everything from tamarind to different kinds of dals. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as much stock as possible. It’s better to have it and not need it, right? We know most of our customers by name since they live just a few streets away. Patel Road is always humming with noise from the scooters and buses passing by. We don’t do any big advertising; people just know we are here. Working in the shop means long hours, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and leaks a bit near the door, so we have to move the stock back. It’s just part of the job. We keep things honest and simple here. No big corporate rules, just us helping out the people who walk in. It’s a small place, but it serves its purpose for the community and we plan to stay right here.
