Lion Dates Impex (P) Ltd.

Our office for Lion Dates Impex (P) Ltd. is at 4-A/3 on Cauvery Road. It’s a decent location, though the road gets quite busy during the mornings. We handle a lot of dates here, as you might guess from the name. The smell of the fruit is something you get used to after a couple of days. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of importing and then getting things out to the shops. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking quality. The office isn't very large, so we’re all sitting pretty close to each other. It makes it easy to ask a question without having to get up. We’ve got a few photos on the walls and some old calendars that probably should have been replaced a year ago. We don’t really care about having a polished look. As long as the phones work and the shipments are on time, we’re happy. The team is hardworking, and we usually eat lunch together in the back room. It’s a very informal environment. We don't have big meetings or long speeches. We just look at what needs to be done for the day and then we do it. If a customer calls with a problem, one of us just picks up and tries to help them out as best as we can. It’s just how we operate.
