Lakshimi Indl. Works

We are located at No.6 in the Sidco Industrial Estate, right near the Boiler Project post office. Being in this part of town means we are surrounded by a lot of industrial history. Lakshimi Indl. Works is a simple operation. We’ve got the old doors that creak and a floor that’s seen a lot of heavy parts over the years. We don't have a receptionist or a big waiting room. Usually, if you show up, you just find someone on the floor and talk to them. The work is mostly manual, and it can be tiring when the weather gets humid. We have our routine: start early, take a tea break around ten, and keep the machines going until the evening. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just take the materials and turn them into whatever is needed. Sometimes the power goes out, or we have to wait on a part, but we just deal with it. The SIDCO estate is a familiar place to us, and we’ve been at No.6 for long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the address anymore. It’s a quiet kind of work in a busy industrial area. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure the people working here are doing okay every day.
