Krithiga Travels

Down on 16th Street in Thuvakkudi, life moves at its own pace. We’re located right by the Nit Quarters, so we see a lot of the faculty and students walking past our doors every day. Krithiga Travels has been part of this little corner of Trichy for a while. The 620015 area is a bit quieter than the middle of the city, which is nice when you’re trying to organize schedules. Our office isn't anything special, just a room with some desks and a place to hang the keys. Usually, the day starts with a walk around the vehicles to make sure no one left a window open or dropped any trash in the back. Thuvakkudi has its own character, and being near the college grounds means there's always someone looking for a ride to the station or the airport. We don't spend money on big advertisements; people just know we’re here on 16th Street. The trees around the quarters provide some shade, but it still gets plenty warm in the cabin of a car by noon. We keep a ledger of all the trips, writing everything down by hand mostly. It’s a lot of waiting for the phone to ring and then making sure the fuel is topped up. We’ve grown fond of this spot and the people who live around here, seeing the same faces year after year while we work.
