Maa Transports

Maa Transports is located at number 6 in the Palaniappa Complex on the Karur Bye-Pass Road. If you know Trichy-2, you know this road is always full of trucks and lorries moving goods across the state. We are right in the thick of it. Our office is a simple one, mostly just a place to keep the logbooks and take phone calls from drivers. There’s a lot of coming and going at all hours. We don't really stick to a nine-to-five schedule because transport doesn't stop. Sometimes I’m here at three in the morning checking if a shipment arrived. The complex is always busy with other businesses too, so there’s a lot of noise and people around. We have a few chairs for the drivers to rest and have a glass of water before they head out again. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure everything is where it should be. We use a lot of paper, and the desks are usually messy with receipts and delivery notes. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people just call us or walk into the office at the Karur Bye-Pass. We’ve been here long enough that everyone knows where the Maa Transports sign is. It’s a tough business with the fuel prices and the traffic, but we manage to keep the wheels turning.
