Kalaisri Jenani Chit Funds is located at D.No. 225 on Madurai Road. We are specifically in the Chalakarai area of Poigaipatty here in Manaparai. The office is right there on the main road, so you see it when you’re driving through. We have been working in this part of Tiruchirappalli for a while now. It’s a local business and we know the people living in the surrounding streets pretty well. Most of our members come from nearby villages. We handle chit funds which is what everyone around here uses for their savings and big expenses. It is a straightforward system. People come in, pay their monthly dues, and we sit down to figure out the monthly auction. There is nothing too fancy about our place. It’s just a regular shopfront with some files and a table. We drink tea and talk about the crops or the weather while the paperwork gets done. Manaparai is famous for its snacks, but for us, it is just home. We are open during regular business hours. If you are coming from Madurai side, we are easy to spot. The building isn't new but it’s sturdy. We like being part of the local economy and helping people manage their cash. It’s a small operation.
