Kalaimagal Soda

Kalaimagal Soda is located at No. 319. If you know the area, we are right near Inamstti Kulam and directly across from the bus stand. It’s a very busy spot because of the buses. There is always the sound of engines and people shouting for their stops. Our place isn't very large, just enough room for the soda bottles and the equipment we use. Being opposite the bus stand means we see a lot of commuters every day. The floor is usually a bit cold and we have to be careful with the glass. It’s a simple business. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing fancy things. Most of the work is manual and keeps us on our feet. The water from the kulam nearby is a landmark everyone uses to give directions. Sometimes the smell of the bus fumes gets inside, but we keep the fans running. It’s just us here, working through the crates and making sure everything is where it should be. We’ve been at No. 319 for a long time. The paint on the door is peeling a bit but it doesn’t bother us much. We know the regular drivers and some of the people who pass by every morning. It’s a honest day's work in a noisy part of town. We are just a small part of the neighborhood, and that is fine by us.
