K K R Travels

If you go down to the 8th Cross in Gandhi Nagar, you’ll find K K R Travels. We are tucked away in Tiruverambur, which is a busy little part of Trichy. It’s mostly residential around here, so things are a bit calmer than the main city center. Our office is just a regular room with a desk and some chairs for drivers to sit on while they wait for the next booking. We have been operating from this spot for a long time. The street outside is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we manage. Most of our work comes from families living nearby who need to get to the airport or maybe visit a temple over the weekend. We don't do much advertising. Usually, someone just knocks on the door and asks if a car is free. The mornings are the busiest when the school traffic starts up. We keep a logbook for all the trips, though sometimes we forget to write down the exact mileage right away. It’s just us doing our thing every day. The 620013 area has changed a lot since we started, but we are still here in the same spot. It gets dusty in the afternoons, so there is always someone with a cloth cleaning the windshields. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay out of the midday sun when it gets too hot.
