Jothi Malleables

We are situated at number 44, Bharathidasan Salai, in the Cantonment area. It’s a well-known part of town, so most people don't have trouble finding us. Our business is focused on making malleable iron products. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and attention to the cooling process. The factory floor is where most of the action happens, with the smells of metal and industrial oil. We’ve been in this location for quite some time, and the building has a bit of history to it. It’s not a modern glass building; it’s a sturdy place that handles the vibrations of the machines. We have a group of workers who are very experienced in handling the furnaces and the molds. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, the businesses that need our castings already know where we are. We spend our days managing production schedules and making sure the quality of the iron is where it needs to be. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing a machine, but that is part of the job. It’s steady work and we are glad to be part of the local industrial community here in the Cantonment. We don't have a big corporate structure; it's mostly just a few of us in the office and the team out on the floor getting the orders ready for shipment. It's a solid operation.
