John Travels

John Travels is based at No 9-B, Mettu Street in Bheema Nagar. We are right near the Bheema Nagar Palliavasal, which is the local mosque. You can hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which is a big part of life on this street. Mettu Street is a busy little place. Our office is easy to spot once you get near the Palliavasal. We have a small desk where we handle all the travel bookings. It is not a huge place, just enough room for us to work and for a couple of people to sit. Bheema Nagar is a tight-knit area. We know the tea shop owners and the other small businesses on the street. The road is a bit bumpy, and it gets crowded with cycles and scooters during the evening. We keep our paperwork in simple folders and use a basic computer for the main stuff. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just help people get where they need to go. Sometimes we stand outside the door to catch a bit of a breeze when it is too hot inside. Life here moves at its own pace. We are just a part of the daily bustle in this part of Trichy. It is a practical, no-nonsense travel office where the phone is usually ringing for a booking.
