We are located at A159 in Jai Nagar, which is part of the Thiruvarambur area. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the main city center, which suits us just fine. Jb Electric Corporation started because there was a need for someone to supply electrical parts without making a big fuss about it. We have shelves full of switches, wiring, and different components that people need for their homes or small shops. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a functional space where we keep inventory. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific fuse or a particular gauge of wire because we have so much tucked away. We’ve known most of our regular customers for years. They come in, tell us what broke or what they’re building, and we see what’s in the back. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright lights. Most of the time, the overhead light is just enough to see the labels on the boxes. Thiruvarambur is a good place to be, and being in Jai Nagar makes it easy for people to pull up and load their trucks. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the shipments that come in are correct. It’s a lot of manual work, counting parts and moving crates. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the day-to-day.
