Jayalakshmi Cotton Sarees Hut

We are located in the Aadhava Commercial Complex right on Amma Mandapam Road. If you know Srirangam, you know this area gets quite busy, especially with people heading toward the temple. My family has been around this neighborhood for a long time. At Jayalakshmi Cotton Sarees Hut, we mostly focus on everyday cotton sarees that local women wear. It is a small space, nothing fancy. We spend our mornings unpacking new stock and folding things back up after customers leave. The shop is at A-15, which is easy to find once you enter the complex. We usually have the fans running all day because it gets quite warm in Srirangam. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we are used to it. People come in looking for something simple for a wedding or just for daily house wear. We keep a lot of different colors. Most days are just about showing people what we have and chatting a bit about the weather or local news. It’s a quiet life here, honestly. We open up early and stay until the evening. The cotton we stock is comfortable for the heat here. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us helping out and making sure the shelves don’t get too messy.
