Our office is at number 5/95 in Veragountenpatti, which is in the Servaikaran Patti area. It’s a local spot and we’ve been here for a while. We run a chit fund, so most of our time is spent with paperwork and calculators. The office is small and simple. We have the basic furniture we need and not much else. There aren't any big signs or flashy lights here. People from the 621315 area know where to find us when they need to pay their installments or check on the next auction. It’s a quiet place, which is nice when you have to concentrate on a lot of numbers. We don't have any corporate slogans or big missions. We just show up, open the door, and get to work. Most of our members are neighbors or people from the nearby villages. We spend our days talking to them and making sure the records are updated. It isn't a complicated business, but it requires us to be careful and consistent. Sometimes the office gets a bit warm in the summer, but we keep the windows open. It’s just a normal, local business doing what it has always done. We don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just us handling the chits.
