Indian Panorama

Indian Panorama is located at No 5 Annai Avenue in Srirangam. We are near the Kolidakarai area, which is a bit of a quieter part of town compared to the main temple streets. Our office is in a residential-looking building, which makes it feel more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We handle travel arrangements and tours for people coming to see the sights around Trichy and beyond. It’s a lot of computer work and phone calls, making sure hotels are booked and cars are ready. We have a few desks and a lot of maps and papers lying around. Srirangam is a great place to be based because there’s so much history here, but it also means we have to deal with a lot of local traffic and narrow roads. We don't go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’re looking for someone local who knows the area. The staff here are mostly local people who grew up around these temples. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the day’s work. It’s not a high-pressure environment, but we do have to stay on top of things when the tourist season kicks in. We just try to provide what people ask for and make sure they don't get lost. It’s a steady job and we like being here near the river.
