Idhaya Travels

I started Idhaya Travels because I wanted to do something for myself here in Thuraiyur. We are based right in this town in the Trichy district, zip code 621010. It’s not a huge place, so most people know where we are without needing a map. I don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or leather chairs. It’s just a small space where I keep track of the vehicles and the drivers. Some days are better than others, especially when the weather is good and the roads are clear. Trichy can get quite hot, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while we wait for the next job. I grew up around here, so I know all the local routes and the shortcuts that the GPS doesn't always show. My business is pretty basic. I take the calls, I talk to the customers, and I make sure the cars are clean and ready. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most of the time. We don't have a big corporate logo or a mission statement on the wall. I just think that if you do the work and show up on time, that’s enough. Being in Thuraiyur is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the main Trichy city, but we still stay busy. It’s a lot of driving and a lot of talking, but that is the nature of the travel business for us. We try to keep things moving as best as we can every day.
