Hindu Mission Hospital

Over in Tennur, specifically on Anna Nagar Main Road, you will find this version of Hindu Mission Hospital. It is a bit different from the bigger ones, but the work is much the same. We have people coming in from the surrounding streets all day long. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open when we can to get a breeze. The furniture in the waiting area has been there a long time, but it’s sturdy. We know most of the regulars by their first names because they have been coming here for their checkups for years. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s not overwhelming either. The staff is usually busy chatting about their lunch plans while they organize the charts for the afternoon. We try to keep the floors clean, though people bring in a lot of sand from the road outside. There isn't any fancy lobby with big flowers; it’s just a place where you come when you aren't feeling well. We handle a lot of small stuff and some bigger things too, depending on who is on shift. The local shops around Anna Nagar Main Road are where we get our snacks. It’s just a normal part of the Tennur landscape, really. We don't try to be anything other than a local hospital for the people nearby.
