Green Vales Sheltur

We are located out in Edumalai, which is a bit of a distance from the main rush of Chennai. Our office handles the housing and shelter projects that people are looking for in this part of Tamil Nadu. It is a quiet spot, mostly surrounded by greenery and open space. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to folks who want to build something of their own. The office is pretty basic. Just some tables, a few files, and a lot of maps of the local land. We don't have a big staff, so whoever is in usually answers the door or the phone. Dealing with land and buildings involves a lot of waiting for papers to come through. We stay patient with it. Most of the people we work with are local families. They come by the Edumalai office to ask about plots or how the construction is going. We try to give them straight answers without any fluff. It’s practical work. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get out to the sites, especially during the rains. We just wait it out and get back to it the next day. Being based here means we know the ground quite well. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do what needs doing to get the projects moving along.
