Essar Constructions India Limited

We are located down in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The office address is 8, 5th Anna Salai, in Kailash Nagar, Kattur. Essar Constructions India Limited has a presence here to look after our projects in the southern part of the country. Trichy is a very different place from our other offices, but we like it here. The weather is usually quite warm, so the fans are always on in the office. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern. We have a few rooms where we keep all the records and tools. Kailash Nagar is a decent area to work out of. Most of the people here speak a mix of Tamil and English, and we’ve gotten used to the local way of doing things. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the area well. We deal with various building and infrastructure tasks. It’s a lot of site visits and checking on material quality. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the projects we have in hand. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or work by the window light. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We’ve been at this for a while and don't feel the need to change how we operate. We just stay at our desks and get the work finished on time. The food around Kattur is great, which is a nice bonus for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work without making too much noise about it.
