Our office is located at First Cross in Ponnagar, Trichy. We are at New No 15. At Dtdc Couries & Cargo Ltd, we handle a lot of packages every single day. The room is usually filled with boxes of all shapes and sizes waiting to be sorted. Trichy is a busy city, and being in Ponnagar puts us in a good spot to reach people. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. We have some scales for weighing things and a few computers for the tracking. The staff here is small. We mostly just focus on getting the labels on the right boxes and making sure they get onto the trucks at the right time. It can get a bit chaotic when a lot of deliveries arrive at once. We just clear some space on the floor and start sorting. It’s physical work and it keeps us moving. We don’t use any polished language to talk about what we do. It’s just about moving stuff from one place to another. Sometimes the ink in the printer runs out right when we are busy, and someone has to run out and get more. That’s just how it goes. We stay open until the last parcel is handled. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it seems to work for us. There is always more work tomorrow morning.
