Dr M Sundaram Hospital Private Limited is right on the busy 102 EVR Road in Puthur. If you’ve ever driven down that way, you know the building with the (17) marked on it. It’s a high-traffic area, so there is always the sound of horns and buses passing by outside our front doors. Inside, it’s a different story with people waiting for their turns to see the doctors. The building has been around for a bit and it feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We don't have those fancy digital kiosks you see in the new city hospitals; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with paper charts and handwritten notes. The hallways are narrow and the rooms are simple, but we keep everything as tidy as we can given how many people walk through every day. Most of our staff have been here for years and they know the regulars who come in for their monthly check-ups. The morning shift starts early with cleaning and setting up the clinic areas. By mid-morning, the waiting room is usually full of folks from Puthur and the surrounding streets. It can get a bit loud and hectic, especially on Mondays, but we just keep moving through the patient list. We don't do any big promotions or ads; people just know where we are because we’ve been on EVR Road for so long. There is always someone coming in for something, and we just handle it one by one.
