Our office is in the Naveen Building, No 17/31, on Nehru Street in Golden Rock. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads of Trichy. We handle both travel and real estate here, so there’s always a mix of people coming in. One person might be looking for a house in Kottapattu, and the next person wants a car for a wedding. Dhanalakshmi Travels & Estates is just a small local operation in the 620004 area. We have been here for some years now. The building is a bit old, and the stairs can be steep, but it’s our home. We keep a few maps on the wall and a bunch of keys for different properties. In the mornings, we usually sit and go through the local papers to see what’s happening. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We write things down in big ledgers and use a lot of sticky notes. Sometimes we forget to turn the sign out when we go for lunch, but people around Nehru Street know us. We don't do big ads or try to sound more important than we are. We just know the local land and we know the roads. If someone needs a trip planned, we help them out. If they need a place to stay, we show them what’s available. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it works for us. We've been part of this neighborhood for a long time now.
