Devi Mobiles

Devi Mobiles is right here on Big Bazaar Street. It's a busy part of Trichy Fort, especially being so close to Krishna Sweets where everyone stops for snacks. The shop isn't huge, but we've got enough room for the display cases and a small space in the back for repairs. Usually, there's a bit of dust because of all the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We spend most of our mornings just setting things up and checking the new stock that came in. People come in with cracked screens or asking about a new charger, and we just try to get it sorted for them. Sometimes the shop gets crowded when three or four people are all asking questions at once. It gets a bit loud with the horns honking out on the main road, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us here have lived in Trichy for a long time, so we know the regulars who pass by every day. We don’t have fancy air conditioning that works all the time, just a couple of fans keeping the air moving while we work on the phones. It’s a straightforward place where we just handle whatever mobile needs come through the door. Usually, we're here until late evening, just making sure the paperwork is done and the shop is locked up right before heading home through the fort traffic.
