Crown Tools

Our shop is located at No.6 in the Thevar Hall Building over on West Bouleward Road. It’s an older building, so it has that specific smell of concrete and old wiring that you only find in these parts of town. Working at Crown Tools means dealing with a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff from the back to the front. Thevar Hall is a good landmark, so most people don't have too much trouble finding us, even with all the traffic on West Bouleward Road. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun reflects off the glass of the neighboring shops. We spend a lot of time just organizing the stock. One day it’s wrenches, the next it’s something else. There’s always someone coming in asking for advice on a project they’re doing at home, and we usually end up talking for longer than we should. The floor tiles are a bit chipped from the years of dragging crates across them. We have a small table in the corner where we keep the bills and a very old calculator that still works fine. It’s not a very big space, but we make it work. Most days are just about getting the orders sorted and making sure the regulars get what they need before we close up for the evening. It's a steady life here, and we like the routine of the neighborhood.
