Capital Tours & Travels

Capital Tours & Travels is located in the basement of the Chitra Hotel building. We are right in the middle of the Townhall area in Trichy, which is always buzzing with people because the Chatiram Bus Stand is just a short walk away. Being in a hotel basement means we see a lot of people coming and going, some staying at the hotel and others just passing through town. The office is tucked away, so it stays a little cooler than the street outside, which is nice during the summer months. We have a few desks and a bench for people to wait on. The noise from the buses and the traffic near the stand is constant, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the keyboard and the phone ringing. We handle local trips and longer journeys, mostly writing things down in big ledgers before putting them into the computer. It’s a busy spot, and there isn't much time for sitting around doing nothing. We keep the place simple, focused on getting the travel details right for whoever walks down the stairs. Sometimes we have to explain the routes several times if the guest is new to Trichy. It’s just us doing our daily work in this corner of Townhall, making sure the travel schedules are kept as best as we can manage.
