Buckman Laboratories India Pvt Ltd

Our office is at 809 Poonamallee High Rd in Kilpauk. It is a big, busy road, so there is always something happening right outside our windows. This is where we handle the India side of things for Buckman. Even though we are part of a larger name, this specific office feels more like a local hub. We deal with a lot of chemical applications for different industries like paper and water treatment. The day usually starts with a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments that are moving across the country. We have a small lab area where we check samples, but most of the time is spent on logistics and talking to our field guys. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of data to look at and many reports to write up. The air conditioning in the office struggles sometimes when the sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon. We have a small team here, and we have all been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits. We do not have any big corporate mottos hanging on the walls. We just focus on making sure our customers get the right chemicals for their processes. It is a lot of technical work, but we have got people who have been doing this since they finished school. It keeps us busy and the bills paid, which is enough for us.
