Bilawin Agencies is located at No: 3/1 on Dindugal Road in Manapparai, Trichy. It’s a spot that’s easy to find if you are driving through that part of town. Manapparai is known for a few things, but for us, it’s just where we come to work every morning. Our building is right on the main road. This means we hear the buses and trucks going by all day. It can get a bit dusty because of all the traffic, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the shelves. The office is pretty basic. We have a large wooden desk and some metal cupboards for all the files. There’s a small fan that wobbles a bit when it's on high speed. We’ve had the same calendar on the wall for two years because nobody bothered to take it down. It’s a practical space. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms. If someone comes to see us, we just pull up a plastic chair and talk right there. Trichy can get really hot, so we usually have the windows open to catch any breeze, even if it brings in the noise. Most of our day is spent talking to people on the phone or checking on incoming orders. It’s a busy life on Dindugal Road. We know the shopkeepers on both sides of us. It’s a good community to be part of. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out.
