Arun Ice Cream

Arun Ice Cream is located at 102, Vennisamy Nagar in Arugathapuram. It is a residential area, so we mostly see families and people who live on the nearby streets. The shop is tucked away a bit, not on a main highway or anything busy. We have been here for a long while now, just doing what we do every day. The space is small and we don't really have room for a lot of seating inside. Most people just grab what they want from the freezer and head back to their houses. We keep the freezers clean and make sure the lights are on for the evening rush. Sometimes the neighborhood gets very quiet in the middle of the day, and then it picks up when school lets out. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or modern. It's just a shop where you can get something cold when the sun is out. We handle the stock ourselves, count the change, and keep a close eye on the temperature gauges. Sometimes the door sticks a little when it's humid, but we manage just fine. You might see us chatting with the neighbors out on the sidewalk. It’s that kind of place where everyone knows everyone. We don't spend money on big posters or any kind of ads. Word of mouth is usually how people find out we are tucked away here. It's a steady life and we like the routine.
