Prapancha Pet Bottles

Our workshop is at Shed No. 2 and 3, right upstairs in the Sidco Industrial Estate near the Thanjavur Palpanaee area in Ariyamangalam. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but if you know the Thanjavur road, you can find the estate pretty easily. We share the upstairs space and it gets quite warm during the summer months in Tamil Nadu. We mostly focus on making pet bottles and dealing with the plastic molding. It’s a lot of heat and noise, but that’s just the nature of this business. We started this because there was a need for it nearby, and we’ve just stayed in this spot ever since. The stairs can be a bit of a pain when we are tired or moving stock, but it keeps us fit I guess. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just us and a few workers trying to make enough bottles to keep the orders filled on time. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a machine, which is frustrating but part of the deal. We like the local community here in Ariyamangalam. It’s an honest place where people value hard work. We just keep our heads down and try to produce good bottles every day. It’s a practical life and we are mostly happy with how it turned out.
