Annai Masala

Annai Masala is located at 91, A, on R S Road. We are quite close to the railway station, so there is always the sound of trains and whistles in the background. The traffic on R S Road can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the rush hours when everyone is trying to get to the station or back home. Our place is usually filled with the smell of different spices because that’s what we do all day. We grind them and pack them up right here. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and you’ll often see us wearing aprons covered in fine powder. The shop isn’t very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve been here for a while, and the building has some character to it, like the old wooden door that creaks a bit when you open it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the grinding and the weighing. People stop by on their way from the station to pick up what they need for dinner. It’s a practical location for a business like ours. We spend our time checking the quality of the seeds and barks before they go into the mill. Every day is pretty much the same, but we don’t mind the repetition. It’s a solid way to make a living and we take it one day at a time.
