Our office is up on the 3rd Floor of the RTS Complex, which is at 75/E1 on Salai Road. Thillainagar is a busy area, so being on the third floor gives us a bit of distance from the street noise. The elevator works most of the time, but we often take the stairs just to stay active. It is a practical space, filled with desks, chairs, and lots of files related to our chit fund groups. We don't have any polished marble floors or glass walls. It’s just a regular workplace where we keep track of payments and handle the paperwork. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when several people come in at once, but we make it work. We have a small window that looks out over Salai Road, and it’s interesting to watch the traffic during our breaks. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. We use simple calculators and ledgers for most of our daily tasks. It’s not a high-tech environment, but it gets the job done. Thillainagar has plenty of places to eat, so lunch breaks are usually the highlight of the day. We are just a group of people working together to manage things properly. No grand promises, just the daily routine of keeping the books in order. We usually lock up around six and head home to our families after checking the locks twice.
