Agarwal Vasans Eye Hospital

Our hospital is over on 1st Cross in Thillai Nagar. It's on the main road, so it gets pretty busy during the daytime hours. We have been at this No-15-A spot for a while. Usually, the first thing we do is check if the lights are working and get the water dispenser filled up for whoever comes in. Thillai Nagar is a lively part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. The building itself is okay, nothing too special to look at, but it keeps us dry when it rains. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait. The staff mostly keeps to themselves, just doing the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the traffic noise from the main road gets a bit loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We have some old eye charts on the walls and the floor is tiled in a light grey color that shows the dust if we don't sweep it twice a day. It is just a regular hospital routine here. We see a lot of the same faces from the local area. There is a small cupboard where we keep the records, and it’s getting pretty full lately. We just go about our business and try to keep the place tidy enough for the people who visit us every day.
