Working out of units C-1 and C-2 in the Sidco Industrial Estate is pretty straightforward. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We’ve been part of this estate for a long time. Christy Textile Products is what we do, and textiles are what we know. The space is large, which is good because we have a lot of equipment. It’s not the prettiest place to work, but it’s functional. We have a crew that’s been with us through thick and thin. Most of the time, we’re just focused on the production line. There’s always something that needs fixing or a deadline to meet. We don't have a fancy front office for visitors. If you come by, you’ll likely find us on the floor checking the fabric. It gets pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just the nature of the business. We keep our coffee in a small breakroom that’s seen better days. The industrial estate has a lot of other companies, so we are never alone. We see the same faces at the gates every morning. It’s a community of workers. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just try to make sure the products are right before they go out the door. It’s just how we operate. We have been doing it this way for years and see no reason to change.
