Prems Clinic

Our clinic is right on the Main Road in Kovilpatti, at number 201. It is a very central spot, so we get people coming in from all over the town. The building is quite simple and we have been here for a good number of years. Kovilpatti can get really hot, so we try to keep the fans running all day to make the waiting room bearable. It is a standard clinic setup. We have a small desk where we keep the patient files and a room for consultations. There is not any fancy decor or expensive furniture here. We just have the basics. People know where we are because we have been part of the Main Road landscape for so long. Sometimes the noise from the buses and motorcycles outside is quite a lot, but you get used to it after a week or two. We do not go in for big promises or fancy talk. We just see the patients who walk through the door, listen to what is wrong, and do what we can. Usually, there is a small crowd outside in the mornings before we open the shutters. It is a steady rhythm of life here. We just keep the doors open and do our work day in and day out without much change. The town moves fast but our clinic stays pretty much the same.
