If you are heading down the Main Road in Village Kopohua, you will see us right near the ONGC gate. Tejasvi Tea has been sitting on this stretch of road for quite some time now. The big trucks going in and out of the gate make a lot of noise and kick up a bit of dirt, but it keeps the place feeling alive. We see a lot of workers from the facility stopping by when their shifts end. They usually look tired and don't say much, and that is okay with us. We just give them what they need and let them be. The shop itself is nothing to look at from the outside. It is just a sturdy little building where we keep our tea stocks. My cousin helps me out most days because doing it alone is a lot of work. We spend the mornings getting everything ready before the sun gets too high. The main road is always busy, so there is never really a dull moment. We don't bother with fancy displays or any of that stuff. We just focus on the task at hand. It gets hot inside during the summer months but we have a small fan that helps a little bit. It is just a basic business for local people. We are just part of the village landscape, tucked away near that big gate.
