We are based out in Tinsukia, which is a busy part of Assam if you know the area. Our office is just a regular place where we handle the daily business for Take Care India. Being in Assam means we deal with the rain quite a bit, and sometimes the roads around here get a little difficult to navigate. We have a small team of people who come in every morning, sign the register, and get to work on whatever needs doing that day. It isn't a high-rise office or anything like that. It is just a practical space with desks, some old files, and a few computers that have seen better days. We do a lot of coordination over the phone and through paperwork. Tinsukia is a major hub for trade, so there is always a lot of movement around us. We see people coming and going from the tea gardens and the local markets. Our work is pretty straightforward, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just focus on getting our tasks finished so we can go home to our families. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait or talk until it comes back on. It is a slow and steady way of working. We have been part of the local scene here for some time now, and most people in the local business circle know who we are.
