Shew Machinery Stores

If you’ve ever driven down A.T. Road, you’ve probably passed by us without thinking much about it. Shew Machinery Stores is just one of those shops packed to the ceiling with things people need for their equipment. We aren't big on decoration or anything like that. The shelves are mostly just wood and metal held together, filled with parts, belts, and tools that have been there for a bit. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot on hand. The traffic on A.T. Road is always moving, so there’s a constant sound of horns and engines outside our door. We usually have the doors wide open so people can see what we have. It gets a bit cluttered, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others here every day. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the stock because the road kicks up so much of it. We don't have a website or any of that stuff; we just open up in the morning and wait for folks to stop by. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or to see if we have a specific bolt. We’ve been on A.T. Road for a long time, and we’ve seen the street change quite a bit, but the shop stays the same even as things get faster.
