Rajesh Hardware Stores has been sitting on Manav Kalyan Road for quite some time now. We deal in all kinds of hardware stuff like nails, hammers, pipes, and paint. The shop is a bit of a mix-up sometimes because we have so many different small parts. If you come in looking for a specific screw, we usually have it buried somewhere in one of the drawers. It’s a dusty job, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, so we just keep the front doors wide open. Manav Kalyan Road is a decent place for a shop like ours. There’s always someone building something or fixing a leak nearby. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just me and a couple of helpers. We spend a lot of time giving advice on how to fix things, even if we aren't experts. We just know what works from seeing it so much over the years. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by while having a glass of water. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the tools and parts from the big distributors and sell them to the people here. We try to keep our prices fair so folks keep coming back when their tap breaks. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but it’s what we know how to do best. We keep a ledger for the regular contractors who pay at the end of the month.
