Oil India Hospital

Oil India Hospital is situated right where the name says, within the Oil India grounds. It is a place that feels very familiar to everyone who lives or works around the facility. The building has that sturdy, older look to it that you see in a lot of industrial areas. We have several wings and different floors that keep us moving all day. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or modern art on the walls. It’s very practical. The floors are that hard stone that’s easy to mop, and the lights are those long fluorescent tubes that hum a little if you listen closely. In the mornings, there’s a specific routine we follow to get everything ready. We see a lot of the same people because of the connection to the company, so it’s rare to see a total stranger. It’s more like a small village atmosphere in here. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking back and forth between the different sections. The trees outside the main entrance offer a bit of shade during the hotter months, which is where some of the staff sit for lunch. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work environment. We don’t do anything flashy. We just make sure the equipment is ready and the rooms are prepared for whoever needs them that day.
