M/S Gritam Trading Agency

Our agency is based out of Village At Post Jagun. We’re in the Taluka Margherita area, which is a bit of a journey if you aren’t from around here. We are located quite close to St. Vincent's High School. You can often hear the kids during their break times, which adds some life to the day. We do a lot of trading, mostly moving goods from one place to another. It’s a practical business that relies on keeping good relationships with the local transporters. The office is pretty basic. We have a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets, and a very reliable kettle for tea. Living and working in a village means things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities, and we like it that way. We know the local farmers and the shopkeepers by name. Sometimes the roads get a bit rough after the rain, so deliveries can take a bit longer than we planned. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy things for us. It’s just us handling the paperwork and making sure the trucks are loaded right. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to drivers who stop by. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t really end when the clock hits five, but we don’t mind much. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay for as long as people need goods moved.
