We operate Kemfina from Hari Bhawan, which is located right on Makum Road. If you are looking for us, we are basically right opposite the Assam Agency Petrol Pump. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a bit of a scramble with the traffic out front. The office is inside Hari Bhawan, and we’ve been here long enough that we know all the local shopkeepers. Being across from the petrol pump is handy because everyone knows that landmark. In Assam, the rain can really slow things down, and we’ve seen plenty of days where the water starts creeping up the road. We just keep the doors open and keep working through it. Inside, it’s a bit of a mix of old files and supplies stacked up. We aren't really into the modern office look. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. Most of the day is spent on the phone or dealing with the people who drop in. It gets loud with the trucks passing by on Makum Road, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks. We take our tea breaks when the rush dies down a bit. It is a simple way to run a business. We focus on the daily tasks and try to keep things steady here at Hari Bhawan.
