Hindustan Construction Ltd ,Mumbai

Our setup here is in Tinsukia, way up in Assam. We are actually working out of the Dr. A. Haque Market on G.N.B Road. We’re sharing space with Jaiswal Enterprises at the moment. It’s a busy market area, so there’s always something going on downstairs. Being in Tinsukia means we deal with a lot of local logistics. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some old filing cabinets, and our gear. We spend a lot of time on the road because getting to the different sites takes forever around here. The weather can be a bit much sometimes with the heavy rain, which slows down the construction quite a bit. We’ve been at this G.N.B Road spot for a while now. It’s convenient being in the market because we can grab whatever we need without going too far. Most people know the building. We handle the paperwork for the Mumbai head office from here. It’s a long way from Maharashtra, but we keep in touch via the phone and emails when the internet behaves. It gets pretty humid in the summer, and the fans just move the hot air around. We mostly just focus on getting the daily logs done and making sure the supplies arrive on time from the bigger cities. It’s a simple life out here in the east, just working through the projects day by day and making sure the records are kept straight for Hindustan Construction Ltd.
