Gayatri Bricks

Gayatri Bricks is located right near the tea factory in Margherita. We’re sitting along National Highway-38, which is a busy stretch of road. Having the highway so close means there’s always noise and dust, but it makes moving our bricks much easier. You can see the tea factory from where we work, and the smell of the leaves sometimes mixes with the smell of the kiln fires. It’s an interesting spot to spend the day. We are a small team just doing what we know how to do. The ground here is good for what we need, and we spend most of our time outdoors. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. We’re usually covered in a bit of grit by the time we head home. The highway brings a lot of people past our gates, and sometimes they pull over to ask about what we have ready. We don't have any fancy signs or a big reception area. It’s just the kiln, the stacks, and the open space. We take the work as it comes and try to keep things running smoothly despite the weather or whatever else might happen. Being in Margherita, we feel like a small part of the local scene, just working away near the highway and the factory. It’s a steady pace of life for everyone here at the yard.
