Coal Queen Pig Producer Company Limited

You can find us over on Dr. B.N. Saikia Road, right near Margherita College. We are at Binanda Gogoi’s place. The name of the business is Coal Queen Pig Producer Company Limited. Margherita is a busy little town and being near the college means there is always people walking around. We focus on the pig business. It is a lot of work keeping up with the animals. We are usually out in the back handling the pigs while the town moves along outside. Binanda’s place is where everything happens. We have the pens and the feed all set up there. It is not the most glamorous job in the world, dealing with pigs all day, but we are used to it. The smell is just part of the life. We have to make sure they are healthy and the pens stay as clean as we can keep them. It takes a lot of water and a lot of scrubbing. We are just local folks trying to make a go of it. Sometimes students from the college walk by and look at what we are doing. We just keep our heads down and get the feeding done. Dr. B.N. Saikia Road is a good spot for us. It’s easy to get what we need and move the pigs when the time comes. We just do the work and try to stay organized as we go along.
