We are based right on the corner of Makum Road and A T Road here in Tinsukia. It’s a handy location because so many buses and cars pass by every single hour. We’ve been operating Assam Pushpak Travel Agency from this office for years. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular building among many others. Inside, we have our desks and some old maps on the walls. We spend our time helping folks figure out their travel plans. Whether it's a short trip nearby or something longer, we try to find a way that works. My brother and I run the place mostly. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three people walk in at once wanting different things. We don't use any high-tech systems, just the basic stuff to get tickets booked. The traffic on A T Road can be a real headache sometimes, especially in the afternoons. You can hear the horns all day long while we work. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People usually find us because they saw the sign while stuck in traffic or a friend told them to come by. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We just stay focused on the work in front of us. If the fans are spinning and the tea is hot, it’s a good day at the office.
