Agarwal (Asssam) Tea Estate

Agarwal (Asssam) Tea Estate is situated near National Highway 37 in the Khowang area. Being so close to the highway makes it easy for transport, which is lucky for us. We’ve been around this part of Assam for quite some time. Tea is basically the lifeblood of this region, and we are just one part of that bigger picture. We don't have any fancy offices in the city. Our work happens right here where the plants are. It’s a lot of physical labor and being outdoors. The weather can be tough, especially during the monsoon, but that’s just life on a tea estate. We don’t have a big marketing department writing things for us. This is just how we talk. We focus on the daily chores of running the estate. There’s always something to fix or a field that needs attention. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. You can hear the trucks on the highway sometimes when things are quiet. We aren't trying to be the most famous tea name in the world. We just want to produce something decent and keep the estate going. People around Khowang know us, and that’s enough for us. We keep things pretty basic here at Agarwal (Asssam) Tea Estate. It's just us, the land, and the tea, and we have been at it for many years now without much change in our ways.
